About
The Southern California Society of Gastroenterology (SCSG) invites the submission of abstracts describing clinical, basic science, and/or psychosocial research in the fields of endoscopy, gastroenterology, gastrointestinal surgery and hepatology. Our goal is to promote research among trainees in the field, stimulate collaboration and foster the development of ideas for future studies. Authors may submit abstracts of completed work, work in progress, or work presented elsewhere within the past 12 months. All abstracts will be peer reviewed, and all that meet the specifications below will be selected for a poster presentation.
Who Should Submit?
GI and Hepatology fellows are invited to submit abstracts.
Fellow Travel Scholarship
In addition to submitting an abstract, the SCSG is pleased to offer the Fellow Travel Scholarships to GI and Hepatology Fellows. Submission of an abstract does not guarantee a Travel Scholarship Award. The SCSG will provide a limited amount of awards based on merit.
