The symposium will provide a unique opportunity to receive a comprehensive update on chronic liver disease from nationally renowned faculty. The educational lectures at this symposium will focus on important advances presented at the annual Liver Symposium and/or in recent publications. Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners involved in the care of patients with chronic liver disease.

 

Statement of Need 

The goal of this program is to provide important clinical and scientific data on the management of chronic liver disease.

 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to:

• Describe new data as it pertains to the implications and options for patients as it pertains to their continued care

• Apply updated guidelines for care for chronic liver and GI related diseases

• Discuss future directions of therapeutics, diagnostics, and technology in the management of GI and liver diseases

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the New Mexico Medical Society (NMMS) through the joint providership of Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Care Services (RMCHCS) and the Southern California Society of Gastroenterology (SCSG). MOC Designation

Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 7.25 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.
