Dear Colleague,

The 2020 SCSG GI Symposium, originally scheduled for June 12-14, 2020 in Dana Point, CA, has been rescheduled for December 4-6, 2020, combining with the Liver Symposium. The 2020 SCSG GI and Liver Symposium will be held on December 4-6, 2020 at Montage in Laguna Beach, CA. The combined symposium will feature an extra day of programming beginning on Friday December 4th. Consideration is also being given to extending the agenda on Saturday December 5, and Sunday 6 to include important GI topics as well. Additional detail including registration dates are to follow in the coming weeks.

This difficult decision to reschedule took into account not only the health risks associated with the rapidly evolving coronavirus pandemic, but also the escalating local and state restrictions on gatherings of any kind.

If you already registered for the 2020 SCSG GI Symposium and would like to apply that registration to the rescheduled event in December, please contact However, in the event that you are not able to attend the rescheduled event and would like to receive a full refund of your 2020 SCSG GI Symposium registration fee, you may also contact
