Program Overview
The joint providership of Medical Education Resources (MER) and Southern California Society of Gastroenterology (SCSG) presents the 2025 SCSG Liver Symposium. This two-day educational event will provide important clinical and scientific data on the management of chronic liver disease (CLD), with a focus on the latest data as presented at major congresses, such as The Liver Meeting™.

 

Target Audience
The program is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses involved in the care of patients with CLD.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe new data as it pertains to the implications and options for patients as it pertains to their continued care

  • Apply updated guidelines for care for CLD

  • Discuss future directions of therapeutics, diagnostics, and technology in the management of CLD

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Medical Education Resources (MER) and the Southern California Society of Gastroenterology. MER is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physician Credit
Medical Education Resources designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

MOC Designation
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 7.0 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
